Vikki qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle in 2002, and has experience in many settings including the NHS, private practice and sports. She specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy over 15 years ago and a passion for sport has given her a special interest in lower limb injuries.
Her ethos is to use a combination of “hands on” treatment and individualised rehabilitation programs in order to progress her clients of all backgrounds to achieve their individual goals.
Vikki has provided physiotherapy services to a Championship Football Academy for the last 10 years and continues to work with their youth squads, travelling nationally and internationally to provide support to players on and off the pitch. She works closely alongside the sports science department to routinely screen all players to ensure injury prevention programs are formulated and implemented, and return to sport protocols are followed. She has also gained vast experience and knowledge in the management and treatment of growth related pathologies.
Vikki also spent 4 years working on the trauma and orthopedic unit at the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, working with poly-trauma patients.
She has been a member of Wakefield Harriers and Athletic club for the last 25 years and has completed both London and Paris marathons, as well as an ultra-marathon. In her spare time she takes the opportunity to travel the world and sample the local cuisine along the way!
