With our remote consultations proving popular and people shielding, self-isolating or reluctant to travel we are continuing to offer our remote physiotherapy consultations.
During a telephone or video consultation your CSPC physiotherapist will take you through an extensive assessment, involving a series of questions and active movement tests.
Physios are trained to ask a specific series of questions regarding your injury in order to work out exactly what your problem is. Information such as how the injury started and what makes it worse, alongside some physical tests, enables us to advise you on how to manage your particular issue.
Once a thorough assessment has been completed, your physiotherapist will work with you to come up with a treatment plan to get you back to your best as quickly as possible. This will include exercises tailored to your needs and some self-treatment techniques which will be explained to you during your consultation. Your treatment plan can be either emailed to you as a PDF and can include links to video clips on our YouTube channel, demonstrating your exercises.
“a thorough check over and then guided self treatment and exercises”
“an incredibly effective system which offers both peace of mind and progress”
“extremely valuable to be able to discuss my treatment plan and progression of my running, strength and conditioning activities with you”
“technology was simple; diagnosis and treatment plan were as good as if I’d driven to Leeds and been seen in person getting me back on the track in just a couple of days”
Still not sure?
