In response to the Covid-19 virus and the necessary closure of the clinic, our goal at CSPC Physiotherapy is to continue to support our existing and new clients by offering a remote physiotherapy service to help you recover from your injury at home.
Remote physiotherapy assessment and treatment:
During a telephone or video consultation your CSPC physiotherapist will take you through an extensive assessment, involving a series of questions and active movement tests.
Physios are trained to ask a specific series of questions regarding your injury in order to work out exactly what your problem is. Information such as how the injury started and what makes it worse, alongside some physical tests, enables us to advise you on how to manage your particular issue.
Once a thorough assessment has been completed, your physiotherapist will work with you to come up with a treatment plan to get you back to your best as quickly as possible. This will include exercises tailored to your needs and some self-treatment techniques which will be explained to you during your consultation. Your treatment plan can be either emailed to you as a PDF and can include links to video clips on our YouTube channel, demonstrating your exercises.
How to book:
To book a remote physiotherapy appointment please call the clinic on 0113 2750606. If your call is unanswered please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you within 24 hours. We will then book you in for a remote consultation at a convenient time for you within our available time slots. We will take payment for the service at this point.
If you have opted for a video consultation, ahead of your booked appointment you will receive an invitation from your physiotherapist to join the video platform Zoom.
Remote physiotherapy assessment and treatment: 30-40 minute consultation plus treatment plan £60
Remote follow-up: 20-30 minute consultation £30
It is also our intention to send out, over the coming days, details of our services for pregnant women and those with osteitis pubis and groin pain which we can offer remotely.
Our self-employed physiotherapists and the clinic really appreciate your continued support at this very difficult time.
Hopefully together we will be able to get through this and all come out the other side in one piece.
