Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.
As well as helping people to recover after surgery, injury, illness or diseases, physiotherapy can help in identifying and correcting, to name just a few problems, the following:
- lack of range of movement
- lack of flexibility
- poor and inefficient movement patterns
- poor and inefficient walking and running gait patterns
- poor functional balance and stability
- muscle imbalances and relative weaknesses
- poor breathing patterns
Shockwave Therapy
We offer a very comprehensive service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation plan, and having the most technically advanced and successful shockwave therapy system to hand, will not only allow our physiotherapists to provide the best hands on treatment but it will also help to bring faster relief to chronic localised issues.
Specialist services
We strive to get you back to your best as quickly as possible and if your physiotherapist is not seeing an improvement in your condition, within three appointments, they will consider one of the following specialist services:
Soft Tissue Therapy
The management, manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues within the body – these include muscles, connective tissue/fascia, tendons and ligaments. Soft Tissue Therapy works to ensure the soft tissue is in the best condition it can be and aligned correctly. This in turn will relieve any undue stress on joints and can reduce joint pain as well as aid muscle activation to prevent a recurrence of any issues.
Podiatry & Biomechanics
The service provides a biomechanical assessment and prescription of orthotic insoles where required. This helps reduce lower limb malalignment originating from poor foot biomechanics. As a result this will alleviate foot pain, improves foot function and improve performance.
