COVID-19 or common cold?

It has been reported that COVID-19 symptoms in people who have been double vaccinated, are very similar to those of the common cold. These symptoms include a runny nose, headache, sneezing, sore throat and occasionally loss of sense or taste.

We would advise that anyone who has these symptoms have a PCR test. If you are attending the clinic with these symptoms, you must have a negative test result. Please postpone your appointment to a later date if you have these symptoms and have been unable to get your test results back.

The top 5 reported COVID-19 symptoms in the unvaccinated continue to be as above but may also include a fever and persistent cough.
