CSPC’S PHILOSOPHY FOR TREATMENT shaped from our experience in the treatment of elite athletes, to deliver life-improving results for all our clients – whatever your walk of life, we want you to be your best.

It is true that our high profile successes are in returning injured athletes to medal winning positions, but quite often our proudest moments come from elsewhere. We take pride in using our skills and expertise to deliver life improving results for all our clients, be they elite athletes, weekend sports people, postnatal women, business men with chronic neck pain or those suffering with complex life-altering pain.

Back to your best as quickly as possible

We strive to get you back to your best as quickly as possible; it is our aim to see you on the road to recovery in 3 appointments.

If you and your physiotherapist are not seeing an improvement, then we will revisit your treatment plan by seeking advice from other members of the CSPC team, referring you to one of our network of experts, or suggesting the inclusion of one of our specialist.

Finding the cause, solving the problem

We are dedicated to seeking out the root cause of your problem and delivering effective individualised treatment plans to get you well again.

Our appointments are a minimum of 1 hour long, this ensures that your physiotherapist is able to:

  • Listen to you properly
  • carry out a thorough whole body assessment
  • work to identify the root cause of your issue
  • devise an individualised treatment plan
  • undertake hands on treatment
  • provide you with exercises and advice to help you to make progress between treatments

Client testimonials - Nathan Shrub“It would be fair to say my injury has been complex, and to coin Alison’s phrase, ‘I’m a special case’. However, the dedication, perseverance, care and commitment, of not only Alison but absolutely everyone at CSPC Physiotherapy Clinic, has been second to none. I truly believe that without their support and expertise I would have remained injured and in pain. I cannot express my gratitude enough and would wholeheartedly recommend them above any other physiotherapy clinic in the UK.”
Ilan Sherman“I just wanted to say a massive thank you to CSPC especially Rob Hobkinson who literally ‘saved my life’ in the run up to the recent Tel Aviv marathon. Rob opened my eyes up to a whole new world of preparation. He worked hard on all my injuries and niggles, and gave me a whole programme of exercises and advice that ensured that against all odds, I achieved a personal best. Can’t recommend him or CSPC highly enough. I have had physios before, but these guys bring it to a completely new scientific professional level that I didn’t know existed. Different class. Thanks again!”
Mary Wilkinson"CSPC have not only provided me the most effective treatment programme to address multiple, long standing injuries, they have also educated me on how to maximise the treatments effectiveness myself. Their specialist knowledge and expertise is outstanding, and this is conveyed to me in an understandable way. They listen to what I’m feeling & use this, together with their thorough assessment, to provide treatment that is adjusted & progressed based on changes that occur. Being able to see & feel physical differences during & between appointments has been a huge motivating factor. I cannot recommend them enough.”
Andy Davies"I have been attending CSPC for some time now. Previously I went to my GP who administered ibuprofen, advised rest and asked me to see him again in three to four weeks. This was not dynamic enough for me. It dawned on me that I was seeing the world’s best generalist, my GP, who was dealing with a myriad of ailments each day. I needed an expert in the relationships between joints, soft tissue, nerves and the mechanical movement of the body.I was aware of CSPC through my daughter’s involvement in county tennis. I gave them a try and now they are my first port of call."
Tony Jacks"I saw Lucy for a few sessions back in March / April. I had runners knee, which meant I was unable to do the Leeds half marathon in May 2015, which would have been my 1st half marathon. Through Lucy’s expert treatment / advice and exercise plan I was soon back to light running. Fast forward 5 months I have just completed my 1st half marathon in a pleasing time of 1hr 51mins and the knee is all fine!. So thanks for your help, I still use the exercises and have the advice to call upon if needed in future."
